Descripción del Tour

Located in the beautiful foothills of the southern Maya Mountains of the Toledo District in Southern Belize. About an hour and half drive on the southern highway, you will have the choice of either the Nim Li Punit and/or Lubaantun Mayan ruins for your morning adventure.

Nim Li Punit is sometimes known as Big Hat or Top Hat; the name is Kekchi Maya for "Big Hat and gets its name from a carving on the longest of the site’s 26 stelae. The longest stelae are carved with a figure wearing a large headdress and, at a length of 30 feet, is the longest discovered in Belize and one of the tallest in the Maya world. Nim Li Punit is situated in the foothills of the southern Maya Mountains.

Lubaantun is known as "Place of the Fallen Stones" in Maya. This archaeological site is quite peculiar as the style of architecture is most district, and unusual, from other archaeological sites in Belize.

Located in about two miles from the San Pedro Columbia Village

Rio Blanco Waterfalls after enjoying the morning exploring the ancient Mayan Ruin, we will take a drive to this breath-taking place of not more than 50 minutes away to this true source of life, the Rio Blanco Waterfalls is a site to behold. And its waters are very refreshing. Enjoy a tasty lunch while enjoying the view of the waterfall as it plunges 20 ft. from a cliff as it lands in the vibrant blue and green pool.
