Enjoy a beautiful and very Scenic drive to this extremely fascinating mystical Archaeological wonder known asXunantunich, Featuring the El Castillo pyramid, the second largest structure in Belize.

Xunantunich, Located in the western district of Cayo, Xunantunich was lost for centuries until it was discovered by accident when a villager in Belize came across a ghost of an ancient Maya Ruins in the 1890s. Today we will go and enjoy these beautiful structures.

We are not done yet you will take a 15-minute shuttle to the river system and get into your tubes and drift for about a 100 ft. to the entrance of the cave that going take you to the underworld of the Mayans, we will be taken off the beaten path into this ceremonial center of the Mayans.

Here we will see amazing artifacts, pottery, altars, jade and even the footprints of the Shaman and priests that’s dated all the way back to the 400 A.D. Imagine this unforgettable experience as you float through this underground cathedral.

Take it a step further and turn your lights off and listen to sound of your knowledgeable guide as he explains the history of the cave and the Mayan world.
